Project 4 Story Synopsis

The title of my book I still haven’t decided on. I’ve narrowed it down to ‘My Buddy Confidence’ or ‘That voice in my head’. It tells the story of a boy’s life from a baby all the way to college life and each year trying to get the confidence he needs to do things in life such as walking, making friends, riding a bike, things people need a little confidence to do the first time around. A little voice in his head tells him each time that he can do it giving him the confidence to do things, but each time the voice goes quieter and quieter till his buddy confidence is pretty much nonexistent.

In this remade version of “Ship in Distress” I’ve added a few more things to have the ships distress over/ I turned some of the clouds darker and used some of the other clouds as smoke for the fire on the mast. I also added the silhouette of a shark in the water and drawn an incoming meteor and nuclear missile.

Magic School Bus

Magic School Bus

Growing up for me the Magic School Bus series was one of the greatest books I ever read as a child. Every single page seemed to draw me in with all of the additional text bubbles that they would give the characters were so much easier for me to read than that huge clump of text at the top. It was what helped me learn how to read in the first place. And the idea of a magical bus that could shrink and change form just made me so hopeful for so many things, and don’t get me started on how I got hooked on the animated series.

One idea I have is to give this ship ALOT more distress, I could paint in a few things such as a missile, thunder cloud, sharks, maybe a meteor and put the ship on fire I could add a few more other things as well.

Ace Attorney: Asian Film Festival

Ace Attorney was by far one of the best ‘game to movie’ movies I’ve ever seen. To those who were familiar with the series: the characters introduced did well to act in the same nature of their video game counter parts. To those who did not know the series the characters might come off as a bit odd, but if it was someone who was familiar to Japan’s culture they movie could have gotten away with it. The job on the courtroom did a wonderful job of imitating the same series that was on the game. The courthouse was a kind of futuristic room that, when times called for it, could display holographic screens that would display evidence or other documents vital to a court case (Similar to how a Nintendo DS would work). Not only that but the people on screen could react to the screens with mere movements, interaction, or even the snap of fingers, appearing and moving at the persons will. Even if someone wasn’t familiar with the game the comedy in the movie is just enough and humorous to make it a worthwhile film.
